Felgueiras is a municipality in the district of Porto, Portugal. The town is home to a number of industries including textile and footwear production. However, the economy of Felgueiras is largely based on port activity and related services. The town of Felgueiras is located in the north-western part of Portugal, close to the border with Spain. The municipality covers an area of approximately 10 square kilometres and has a population of around 20,000 people.
